Our Warranties
Decking
If we think it is possible and appropriate, we guarantee to repair (and if not to replace) any product which develops a fault due to faulty materials or poor workmanship within 10 years of it being installed. This warranty applies to new installs, held in the name of the purchaser and is non transferable. You must tell us in writing of any claim under this term of guarantee within 28 days of discovering the fault.
Warranty terms & conditions
The Decking warranty does not cover:
- Damage due to misuse, issues arising as a result of poor ground stability or drainage, neglect or lack of maintenance (for example; planter/ plant pots should be moved weekly on timber subframes to prevent rot from above due to persistent damp), or from causes beyond our control (for example fire, wind damage, flooding, criminal damage or acts of war).
- Any work carried out by others associated to this installation or to those parts of this installation affected by work carried out by others, other than work carried out by us or our employees or sub-contractors.
- If we agree to undertake work to an existing subframe structure and any structure that is not fully installed by ourselves.
- Any changes or variations in colour of our non foiled products.
- Timber subframes at ground height, where the guarantee would expire after 5 years. (Galvanised steel, aluminium subframes and timber subframes more that 100mm off the ground will be guaranteed for 10 years)
- Accessories including lighting, gates, locks, hatch bolts, glass clamps, supplied by the company which will hold a 12-month warranty.
- Glass parts – which carry no warranty
The Veranda and Pergolas warranty
The powder coating carries a 5-year warranty.
Please note, the powder coating of aluminum parts is two years where the product is positioned in a location which comes into contact with salty or chemical steam (such as harbours, coasts and swimming pools).
The following exclusions apply:
a) Pergola Motor parts, electronic controller and receivers, electronic
circuits, boards, LED lights, plastic parts – which carry a 2 year warranty.
With Paint (steel components special parts) carrying a 1 year warranty.
Extended 10 year warranty does apply on our premium ranges.
