Walnut Decking with Glass Balustrades Overlooking Canal

Some briefs we receive from our customers are amazingly straightforward but require a very precise execution. This installation fell into that category as the householder make a very simple request that we create a gorgeous deck for them next to the canal, but they were conscious that it mustn’t compromise child safety as they had young children in the household. Lakeland was more than up for the challenge.

We installed the walnut decking with antique coloured posts and a slightly smoked glass. It was our recommendation that smoked glass was used as we knew that customer valued their privacy and we didn’t want them to feel overexposed when they were on their decking and people walked along the canal. The glass is 10mm toughened for extra safety and each piece of glazing was individually measured to ensure a perfect fit. The word ‘stunning’ doesn’t even cover how spectacular this installation is.
